Our rates remain consistent for both in person and virtual therapy services.
You are given a 24 hour window to reschedule and/or cancel your appointment. Should you no show without notification, your card will be charged a $100 no show fee. In case of emergency, with appropriate documentation, the no show fee can be waived and/or refunded in full.
Payment is expected to be paid in full at the time of service.
Preferred methods of payment include debit and credit cards. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and any Health Savings account debit cards.
You will be asked to create an online client portal where your credit card information will be securely stored and only charged at the time of your service.
Please cancel within 24 hours of your appointment. If there is not a 24 hour cancellation, there will be a no show/late cancellation fee that will be charged to your card on file. You may cancel your appointment by emailing us, or calling the office and leaving a voicemail.
Confidentiality is crucial in the medical field and mental health treatment is no different. All data is kept in encrypted digital systems that comply with HIPAA regulations. The details you decide to discuss with your counselor during therapy sessions are private to you both. What information is shared is up to you.
The length of counseling is determined by each client’s particular needs. Some clients find that they are able to achieve their goals in a few sessions and some clients feel they need longer. LaTasha engages with each client to develop a personalized treatment plan that reflects their goals and needs.
This depends on the individual needs of each client and the treatment plan we create. LaTasha typically recommends weekly sessions to start with so that counseling can feel comfortable and progress can be effectively made on your goals. From there, some clients feel the need for weekly sessions while others prefer monthly or bi-monthly check-ins.
The first session helps us get to know each other and to talk about what you hope to accomplish in counseling. LaTasha will ask questions, go over the intake forms, and answer any and all questions that you may have. The first session typically is more of a get to know you and your experience.
